REVIEW - SELF LESS

Damian is an extremely wealthy old man who was known to basically build New York and is now nearing death with only 6 months of life. Behold, it goes through a treatment in order to move your consciousness to a younger body so that your mind remains alive in a new skin.
The problem is that you were promised a receptacle made in the laboratory, but in fact it took the body of a man who was sold by her family. And now he needs to fight against this organization that made the treatment and that his conscience would not disappear.
Ben Kingsley plays Damian (the original), the actor has little screen time but manages to show his gift of your character for business and your bad relationship with his daughter Claire, played by Michelle Dockery.
Ryan Reynolds is Mark, the man who sold her body, then one can say that he plays Damian. The actor has plenty of charisma and is very well here, but even though the main character there is not much to it to work and you can tell he is very actor for what the screenplay has to offer.
Natalie Martinez is Mark's wife who thought she lost her husband, and the actress is a functional work and no stand out much. The character even manages to become more relevant after a while but nothing too big.
The story is kind of questionable at first, because even if the Damian were using the body of another person, that person sold the body for its own reasons. You can not say that this is a problem as it will for the convictions of Damian, but I was thinking about it during the movie.
The direction is good and managed to make a very characteristic touch by its dynamic cuts in some scenes, for example, they are preparing to flee from somewhere and have a character narrating the plan while in the background there are scenes with quick cuts showing preparations for the scape.
Do not expect mood because there's nothing comic in the script, which is a shame because it would be very welcome to the plot even more by the presence of an actor who works well in comedies.
I felt a taste of wasted potential, I think it would be much more interesting if there was a major battle between the minds of Damian and Mark within just a body, and not the way that the film followed.
Here is a simple story, a predictable end and a long plot. In my view is a forgettable film that is sold by the initial idea is quite interesting.
